La Federación de Cooperativas Mineras Auríferas del Norte de La Paz (Fencoman) se movilizó este lunes por las principales calles de la sede de gobierno en contra del avasallamiento a sus concesiones y en rechazo al contrabando de oro peruano.

El dirigente de ese sector, Germán Tancara, afirmó que la marcha cuestiona al gobierno "porque no hace respetar las concesiones mineras como señala la Constitución".

"Además protestamos, porque que no se está controlando el contrabando de oro peruano que ingresa en gran cantidad al país", remarcó.

En esa dirección, anunció que "de persistir esa situación" radicalizarán sus medidas de presión.

"El reclamo para frenar el contrabando de este mineral se debe a que hay una verdadera invasión del oro peruano, porque está entrando en gran cantidad al país y afecta de gran manera a los cooperativistas de este sector", recalcó.

Puntualizó que debido a ese contrabando, la cotización del oro en el departamento de La Paz "bajó mucho". "Ya no se puede vender a precios tan bajos", matizó.

"Conocemos que en el Perú los cooperativistas mineros del oro por decisión de su gobierno, para vender este metal, ahora tienen que pagar el Impuesto al Valor Agregado (IVA), eso no ocurre en Bolivia, por eso los peruanos para no pagar ese impuesto, están entrando a comercializar su oro en Bolivia y eso nos daña", remarcó.
